Hey, I’m Lily Anderson and I’ve been wake surfing since I was 11 years old! My family bought our first wake boat in 2012 and the second my parents got me up wakesurfing for the first time, I was hooked. I have always been very competitive as I grew up playing competitive soccer, so once I started getting better at wake surfing my family was looking into more ways to be involved in the sport. 2016 was my first year competing in amateur, I was stoked to win every competition I entered that year! The next season I decided to move up to outlaw (semi-pro) where I again had an undefeated season and was lucky enough to win the world wakesurfing championship in my home city Kelowna BC! In 2018 I started competing in pro, and since then I have accomplished many podiums in my career, including 1st place at Canadian Nationals in 2020, 2nd place in the 2019 Nautique Masters event, and 3rd place at the 2019 world wakesurfing championship! I have also been lucky to be able to travel to Japan 3 different times to take home 1st place each time! I ride my very own pro model from kanuk board co, that i worked closely with the shapers to ensure the perfect ride not just for me but for everyone. If I’m not out on the lake with my family, you can find me working behind the scenes at kanuk board co, fulfilling your orders and making a board here and there.
