MEET TAYLOR!

I'm Taylor Swanson, and wake surfing has been my passion since I was a teenager. In 2018, at the age of 14, I won the World Wake Surfing Championships in the Semi-Pro division, an achievement at the time that led me to become the world's youngest professional wake surfer. Joining Kanuk in 2018 was a significant milestone for me, and it wasn't long before we launched our first pro model board in 2019. My first year competing as a pro in 2019 was exciting—I made it to the podium six times out of seven contests and wrapped up the season as one of the top three wakesurfers globally. Teaming up with my brother Camron during our inaugural professional year, we pioneered by landing and creating ten new tricks for the sport. The following year in 2020 saw us both featured on CBS Sports during the Pro Wake Tour while finishing among its top four contenders worldwide; once again innovating with another set of ten groundbreaking tricks! From 2021 through to 2023, I consistently secured second place overall on each Pro Wake Tour season after triumphantly conquering multiple tour stops along this journey too! As "The Swany Bros," Camron and I have created over fifty unique wakesurfing tricks collectively—the most anyone ever has—and maintained unwavering Top Three overall finishes every single competition year we've participated: Constant evolution melded seamlessly into lasting legacy is what defines us best! Beyond competitions, my brother and I run Wakesurfnow.com where we coach and train others to reach their highest potential. We've also created an online coaching program that allows anyone from around the world to learn from us at Wakesurfonline.com.
