MEET TURNER!

Hi! My name is Turner Gebers, aka T-Dog. I’m a 16 year-old from Washington State. I started wakesurfing when I was 6 years old. My dad would take me wakesurfing for fun and I got obsessed with the sport. At my first competition in 2017, when I was 9 years old, I placed 12 out of 12. This loss fueled my passion for the sport and I set my sights on becoming a Professional wake surfer. In 2020, after very successful years in the Juniors division, I moved up to the Amateur Men’s surf division. In that first year, at age 13, I won the World Wake Surf Championship, and finished ranked #1 in the World ranking system. In 2022, I placed 2nd in the Semi-Pro (Outlaw) male surf division of the World Wake Surf Championship. At age 15, I had to make the choice to stay in the Outlaw division or move up to the Professional Men’s Surf division. I took the leap, and in 2023 I became the youngest Professional in the Men’s surf style division. Shortly thereafter, I became a sponsored team rider for Centurion Boats. In my first year as a Pro, I finished 6th in the Centurion World Series of Wakesurfing. I’m determined to make a mark on this sport! Wake surfing is my favorite thing to do and I don’t know what I would do without it. I feel privileged to join the Kanuk Board Co. team of elite riders; a team with the highest number of World Championships and podiums than any other board company. I am coming into the 2024 season full of passion and I am determined to contribute to the Kanuk team’s tradition of wins and podiums. Let’s Gooooo!
