I'm Camron Swanson, and my passion for wakesurfing has taken me on an incredible journey. I joined Kanuk in 2018, and by 2019 we launched our first pro model board together. That same year marked a significant milestone in my career as it was my first season competing as a professional. Before turning pro, I achieved the rank of #1 Wakesurfer in the world within the semi-pro division in 2018. It was an exciting year not just for me but also for my brother Taylor, who finished 2nd overall. Together, we became the youngest professional wakesurfers globally at that time. My rookie year as a pro was nothing short of spectacular; out of nine contests, I podiumed eight times with five first-place finishes and three second-place finishes. At just 16 years old, becoming ranked #1 Pro Wake Surfer worldwide felt surreal. The highlight was winning both the Pro CWSA World Wakesurfing Championship and the Pro WWA Nautique Masters Wakesurf Championship with four flawless passes—a feat never accomplished before. In 2020, I wrapped up an outstanding performance by finishing second overall on the Pro Wake Tour and had the honor of being featured alongside my brother Taylor on CBS Sports as two of the top four wakesurfers globally. In 2022 I finished first overall on the Pro Wake Tour after winning every stop and becoming the first in history to ever do so! As "The Swany Bros," Taylor and I have created over fifty unique wakesurfing tricks collectively—the most anyone ever has—and maintained unwavering Top Three overall finishes every single competition year we've participated: Constant evolution melded seamlessly into lasting legacy is what defines us best!
